Please tell me all the reasons prescribed methadone? Im tired of explaining.?
Recently I started seeing a pain specialist. Added my recipes methadone. I can take pain relievers, muscle relaxants, nerve medicine, sleep medicine, drugs, high boiling point, seizure medicines meds.and anxiety / depression. I have many neurological problems such as degenerative disc Dis., Degenerative Joint Dis., Spinal stenosis, the Spurs in the cervical, thoracic.lumbar and sacral serious invasion of the lower back / sacrum to. Cauda equina syndrome, also I have a meniscus tear in both knees, bursitis in the hip rt. Along with that Ihave Fibro myalgia, migraines, epilepsy and high blood pressure. I do not like the fact that some people automatically think methadone is the drug only heads, drug addicts, etc. Please help me educate the world about other uses for methadone! I feel like my family and friends think of me differently because I am taking methadone. I take my medications as prescribed because without them I have absolutely no quality of life. Educating my loved ones !!!!!
I, also taking methadone. It is prescribed for me by my pain management doctor. I had major back surgery in January and have had major complications that surgery. I have been constantly since January drugs. I started taking methadone in May and has helped me with the pain, but also gave me several other narcotics, along with that. My doctor prescribed methadone in the hope of trying to wean me off of some of the other drugs was underway. Unfortunately, I finished a backup of all the medicines, adding methadone to them. Now, having a implant made pain pump the second week of January. He is the hope I'll be able to wean myself of all the medications I am now. The pain pump is the delivery of morphine directly into my spine, where There is severe nerve damage. He said he will be on methadone for a while, because you have to come slowly, but similar. I realized that if I take my methadone in a tight program, I will have seizures. I like being on all drugs, but I have no choice. People, some of us who have to take these drugs because we have no choice. We are in pain 24 / 7. First, by a doctor to prescribe methadone, one has to be a pain! In my case, my doctors have agreed among themselves, I'm not pretending that my problems and I'm much pain all the time. They are doing the best they can help control pain, and that means taking a large amount of narcotics. Please get off of us! We are trying to live as normal a life as possible. It's so hard for us to try to be as normal as possible, especially when we live in severe pain 24 / 7. If you really have a problem with us to bring all medications, speak with our own doctors. Maybe you can convince that we really have these problems. It's sad that you need to be convinced of anything. If you really loved us, we will not be questioned.
