An artificial cervical disc expected to receive FDA approval is made by Medtronic. (See press release below). This is expected this summer, so I do not think you will find a list of surgeons who perform the procedure (Not research studies) before that date. (Remember that in a research study that may or may not get the "new" device – can receive the "standard of care") Consider the following website Medtronic, etc for information about the publication. (There are also links to studies Research for cervical disc conditions) I would expect this to be a reliable source of information about the surgeons with the device as well. Perhaps you can find a surgeon in the area that was involved in some of the research – which would have the most experience with the product. Seems like a good choice for cervical disc problems – I will consider my next good luck!
