What are some pain medications sitting? I think I have a herniated disk and it hurts to sit for long periods.?

Does anyone is a trick to relieve pain? does not hurt when I stand, only when I feel. I had my prostate checked out and do physical therapy, so nothing seems to work for long. I explored the option of surgery, but to avoid that route if possible. Can anyone help me?
