I have a herniated disc, Help!?
Im 18 and thanks to my inherited back problems I developed a Herniated Lumbar Disc my the middle of the L4 vertebra and L5. This is my first year of school and college football and I have a herniated disc in football. i practice with this extreme pain for about two weeks and a half I went to look I looked after I became hard to sit. first and gave me a steroid to stop pain inflammation and pain, didn't work, pain wise and I have no idea if the swelling went down. then gave me this key by wear and the most uncomfortable thing and agruvating ever. I wonder are there other methods for one to heal my back? Thanks fucked
I had the same thing at exactly the same place too. But mine was an accident of age (which I do not even remember) that only worsened with time. Had he lived with pain for more than three years. I had surgery in February, and I am free of pain since then. It may not be right for you, but you could try what I did three years ago. My doctor (at that time) sent me to bed for eight days. I just got for showers and toilet. Then I got up, I was pain free for a year before it started again. You could also try physiotherapy.
